“Because the truth is that anger isn’t what gets in our way
- it is our way.
All we have to do is own it.”
Anger Unveiled
-Somatic Approaches For Working With Anger-
A Trauma and Shame Informed Journey
Into The Heart Of Your Anger
“We minimize our anger, calling it frustration, impatience, exasperation, or irritation, words that don't convey the intrinsic social and public demand that 'anger' does. We learn to contain our selves: our voices, hair, clothes, and, most importantly, speech.
Anger is usually about saying "no" in a world where women are conditioned to say almost anything but "no.”
Soraya Chemaly
Anger Unveiled is a piece of my heart. It's the culmination of my deeply personal, often turbulent journey with anger – a journey that ultimately gifted me with insights, healing, and a wellspring of compassion for myself and others.

Why I created this program …
Unveiling my own anger and understanding what lies beneath it has allowed me to connect with my needs, establish my boundaries, and tap into my creative power like never before. I have learned to use anger as my ally—a faithful friend that keeps me in alignment with who I am. I now have healthy ways to notice, welcome, express, and transmute anger.
Before I learned to befriend my anger, it was a source of tremendous shame and pain. It still makes me emotional to remember myself as a child in moments of anger—small, overwhelmed, and grappling with intense feelings of injustice that felt far too big for my tiny body. I was terrified of expressing it, unsure of how to navigate the storm within. And when I did express my anger, I was often laughed at or got told off. So I learnt to hold it in.
But the consequences of repressing such powerful emotions, especially during those vulnerable, formative years, can be truly harmful. My anger made me sick. I was burning from the inside, without knowing it.
From "hysterical" girl to "aggressive" woman, my anger was always policed.
In my 40 years of life in a female body, and the experience of working with individuals from diverse backgrounds in the past decade, have illuminated the disturbingly gendered and racialized ways in which anger is perceived and expressed in our world. I have witnessed countless women—brilliant, smart, and capable—who are completely disconnected from their anger, often unaware that they even have permission to reclaim it. They have weak boundaries, they are stuck in patterns, and their bodies are growing louder, signaling the damage that stored anger has caused. But it doesn’t have to be this way! We can actually unveil, name and process our anger.
An Invitation For Transformation
“Your anger is a gift you give to yourself and the world that is yours. In anger, I have lived more fully, freely, intensely, sensitively, and politically. If ever there was a time not to silence yourself, to channel your anger into healthy places and choices,
this is it.”
― Soraya Chemaly
With the "Anger Unveiled" program, I invite you to cultivate an intimate relationship with your anger and harness its incredibly potent energy.
This program is designed to ensure that you do not turn your anger against yourself or others, but rather transform it into your inner fire—a source of strength and empowerment.
Together, we will explore the depths of your anger, uncover its roots, and learn how to channel it constructively.
It’s time to reclaim your voice, embrace your emotions, and allow anger to guide you toward a more authentic and empowered self.

ANGER UNVEILED
-Somatic Approaches For Working With Anger Program-
is divided into five sessions, each 75 minutes long, running through five or maximum six weeks, exploring the following themes and more:

“This program has been a game-changer for me. My anger poisoned my relationship with my partner and it effected my self-worth. I often found myself swinging between repression, passive aggression, and explosive outbursts, which made me feel confused and ashamed. I was certain that something was wrong with me, and I hated myself for not being able to control my emotions.
Through this program, I gained a deeper understanding of my nervous system and learned how to navigate my intense emotions. For the first time, I felt empowered to make choices and break free from the shame-rage cycles that had been making my life hell. These sessions have truly saved my relationship, and I am forever grateful for Gabriella's guidance!"

The Price We Pay For Disowning Our Anger is Too High
Anger is a natural and valid emotion, yet many of us have been conditioned to suppress it. Disowning our anger can lead to a myriad of physical and emotional consequences that can significantly impact our quality of life.
Here are some signs that may indicate unprocessed, stored anger in your body:
Sleep Disturbances
Anger that remains unexpressed can manifest in restless nights. You may find it difficult to fall asleep or stay asleep, leading to fatigue and irritability during the day, therefore continuing the anger cycle.
Substance Abuse
Some individuals may turn to alcohol, drugs, or other substances as a way to numb their anger. This coping mechanism can lead to addiction and further emotional turmoil
Eating Disorders
Some people may cope with anger through disordered eating patterns, whether it’s binge eating as a way to fill an emotional void or restricting food as a form of control.
Weak Immune System
Research suggests that unresolved anger can weaken the immune system, making you more susceptible to illness and infections.
Mood Swings
Unresolved anger can cause fluctuations in your mood, making you feel irritable one moment and deeply sad the next. This unpredictability can strain relationships and affect your overall well-being.
Self-Destructive Behaviors
Disowned anger can lead to self-sabotage, where you may engage in behaviors that harm your well-being, such as procrastination, unhealthy relationships, reckless driving, or worse.
Difficulty Setting Boundaries
When anger is not acknowledged, it can lead to challenges in asserting your needs. You may struggle to say no or establish healthy boundaries, resulting in feelings of resentment.
Low Self-Esteem
Disowning anger can lead to feelings of inadequacy and low self-worth. You may internalize your anger, believing that you are not deserving of happiness or success.
Increased Stress Levels
When anger is bottled up, it can contribute to heightened stress levels. This chronic stress can take a toll on both your mental and physical health, leading to burnout and anxiety.
Digestive Issues
The body often reacts to unprocessed emotions with physical symptoms. Anger can manifest as digestive problems, including bloating, constipation, or irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
Emotional Tension
Chronic anger can create a constant state of emotional tension, making it difficult to relax or enjoy life. This tension can also affect your relationships with others.
High Blood Pressure
Chronic anger and stress can contribute to elevated blood pressure, increasing the risk of heart disease and other serious health issues

“I couldn't feel my anger at all. Instead, I was living with constant muscle tension and sleepless nights, completely unaware of the emotions I was suppressing. Initially, I hesitated to join, as I tend to avoid conflict and seek peace, even within myself. The thought of confronting something I believed I didn’t have felt ridiculous. But my friend insisted it would be beneficial, and she was absolutely right!
Working with Gabriella was like opening Pandora's box. It was terrifying at first, but her guidance made me feel safe as I released the energy and tension of years of pent-up anger, people-pleasing, and crossed boundaries. After our sessions, my body felt rejuvenated—like I was 20 years younger! I now sleep so much better and continue to take monthly sessions with Gabriella to explore how I hold stress and anger in my body and learn how to transform it. I can't recommend this program enough!”

I also want you to know, that I really appreciate that you are here. Whether you embark on this 5-weeks life changing journey with me or not, you reading these words means that you are curios about the process of befriending your anger! This is where it all begins…

“I did Anger Unveiled sessions with Gabriella. Through this experience, I learned to listen to my body and reconnect. I started to feel into my body more and learned how bodily sensations are speaking to me, and how to listen to that and use it to communicate. I learned how anger is actually a friend that tells me when I’m not okay with situations.
We did several sessions and uncovered a pattern that I’ve been using my whole life to deal with—or avoid—this feeling. When we explored this through drawing, it looked so simple. I could see I was doing this pattern in the drawing, but I just wasn’t aware of it before.
I am so grateful for this healing experience. I struggle with a physical disease, which is also improving now. I believe that this is all connected.”
