The Loving No

Where Boundaries Begin in the Body

A Trauma- and Shame-Sensitive, Experiential Program for women who have learned to stay connected through people-pleasing, over-giving, or self-abandonment.

If saying no feels frightening, if guilt arises around having needs, or if your body feels exhausted and braced in relationships, this work begins from there.

Rather than focusing on what to say or how to say it, we begin with what happens inside you in those moments.

Through somatic embodiment, nervous-system literacy, and relational tools, you will:

  • learn to feel where your boundaries live in you

  • practice staying with yourself in moments that may have previously overridden you

  • begin to recognize the patterns your system has learned around tension and connection

  • unveil how these patterns shape your responses in relationships

  • build the capacity to protect yourself while remaining in connection

  • feel clear without carrying days of guilt afterward

  • stay open without leaving yourself behind.

Your Journey

Sensing Boundaries

We explore what boundaries actually feel like in the body, and how your nervous system has learned to relate to connection, safety, and self-protection over time. You’ll start to recognize the subtle signs of where your limits soften, disappear, or become difficult to access, and begin to understand the patterns that may have shaped this—both in your personal history and in the environments you move through. This part is about awareness, but also about creating enough internal safety so that change can begin to feel possible.

Setting Boundaries

We move into the practice of setting boundaries. With greater awareness of your inner landscape and your body, we begin to explore how boundaries can be expressed in ways that feel clear, grounded, and aligned with who you are. You’ll be introduced to relational and somatic tools that support you in staying present while communicating your limits, alongside a structured process that you can return to when something feels unclear or difficult to navigate. There is also space here for the grief that can arise—grief for what hasn’t felt safe before, or for what may need to shift as you begin to show up differently.

Part 2

Living Boundaries

The focus becomes integration. This is where boundaries begin to live in your everyday life, as a practice you can return to again and again. We explore what happens when your boundaries are tested, when fear of disconnection or rejection surfaces, and how to stay with yourself in those moments without collapsing or hardening. Self-compassion becomes an essential anchor here, allowing you to meet yourself with care as you continue to grow into a way of relating that protects your energy while keeping your heart open.

Part 3

This program is for you if:

  • You feel a deep pattern of people-pleasing, over-giving, or self-silencing

  • Saying no brings fear, guilt, or anxiety—even when you know it’s needed

  • You notice exhaustion, resentment, or disconnection in your relationships

  • You want to learn boundaries through the body, not just the mind

  • You are ready to protect yourself while staying compassionate and connected

This program may not be for you if:

  • You are looking for quick fixes, scripts, or rigid rules about boundaries

  • You want to confront or change others rather than tend to your own safety and clarity

  • You are seeking a purely intellectual or performance-based approach

  • You are not ready to slow down and work at a nervous-system-informed pace
